Veronica High
Capital Project Controls Administrator

Veronica High grew up in southern New Jersey near the shore and has always had a passion for both water and problem solving. Veronica holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina – Pembroke. She is a licensed Professional Engineer and Real Estate Broker. Veronica’ career started in the private sector with an engineering firm performing floodplain modeling and mapping. She also supervised federal disaster response teams during disaster declarations. After 6 years in the private sector, Veronica joined the City of Raleigh in North Carolina approximately 22 years ago. She spent most of her tenure within the Engineering Services Department and has maintained several different roles within the Department. She has been a project manager and administrator tasked with managing the day-to-day operations of a team of project managers and inspectors in charge of large multimillion-dollar capital stormwater construction projects. Currently, Veronica is the Project Controls Administrator within the Engineering Services Department, where she develops policies and procedures that develops and fosters improved efficiencies as it relates to the construction of capital improvement projects throughout the entire City and serves as an e-Builder Administrator.
Becky Tamashasky
Executive Vice President of Vision and Product Engineering | Cityworks
Becky Tamashasky is vice president of product vision and engineering at Cityworks, a Trimble Company. She brings more than 20 years of experience to the role, where she leads the direction of GIS-centric solutions for local government, public works, and utility organizations. Becky also serves on the Esri Partner Advisory Council and the CTO Council. Prior to joining Cityworks, she worked in engineering consulting where she focused on water resources and hydraulic modeling. Becky received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from Virginia Tech.
